LAST WEEK!

This week President Obama admitted that he was pro gay marriage. This contradicts his 2008 campaign when he said that he only supports a man and a woman marriage. A day after Obama's statement about gay marriage George Clooney donated a large sum of money towards his re-election campaign. Romney still supports his original belief where a marriage is between a man and a woman.

I think this was a stupid idea for Obama to do. Although it is a good thing for me considering I do not want another term with Obama in office, he will lose more votes than he gains in this recent statement. I personally have no problem with the idea. If two people want to get married and their church allows them to marry in their church, its not my job to judge. Those people were put on this earth for a reason so God must have a plan.

This Tuesday was the one year of the killing of  Osama Bin Laden. America got their justice on the killing of the man responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans. Yet the fight is still not over with. Al Qaeda, although weakened, still remains a threat to people all over the world. Many people are at threat and not just Christians. It has been found out that Osama had been depressed in his final days of life because he had done more killings of Muslims than of Christians. It has also been discovered that Al Qaeda teamed up with Al-Shabab.

I was glad to see that we have been a full year with the maniac out of this world. I believe that Al Qaeda is still a threat but not as big or organized as is was with Osama. Al Qaeda should be feared because they do not just kill Christians, they kill everyone including Muslims. I don't believe that the teaming up of the groups will be much of a problem considering they are both poor and have no funds to support their group.

So I finally figured out how to work the new site which explains why this is so late. I thought it was going to make me have to make a completely new blog which I did like three days in a row. This week an underdog team in the Champions League are progressing to the finals. Chelsea beat the last years champions, FC Barcelona, in a 3-2 goal aggregate. Chelsea will be facing Bayern Munich, from Germany, in this years finals. Bayern Munich beat the runners up from last year, Real Madrid, in a penalty kick shoot-out. This is only the second time in history that Chelsea is going to the finals.

I am very excited for this years finals. I am having a very hard time deciding which team I should support in the finals. They are my two favorite teams and I think they should both win. I honestly believe that the Germans will come out with the win but my hopes are for Chelsea. Which ever one wins, it will be an amazing game.

Week 13 Blog

Today the Colts announced that Andrew Luck would be the number one pick in the NFL draft. They have little doubt on what Luck will bring the Colts. They are very excited to be getting this quarterback and can't wait to see what he has to offer for Indianapolis. Although the Colts will have a tough time with most of their other stars being gone also.

I believe this is a great idea for the Colts. I have very little doubt that he will be a bust. I believe that he will be the new "Peyton." Some others believe that RGIII was a better choice but I just don't see that happening. Luck has the whits and talent to be the best quarterback in the NFL.

Week 12

This week North Korea ended the deal with the U.S. The deal was that they would not do any do any mischievous work as long as we sent food to them. This week they ended that deal by sending a rocket with a "satellite" in it. Luckily the rocket broke up in mid-air and there is no sign that it could have ever reached the U.S.

I honestly believe that North Korea was stupid. But most of us knew that this was going to happen. We saw this coming from a mile away, they agree to stop business and we send them food, once they get the food their business started right back up with the rocket.

Week 11

A lot this week has been going on with the Treyvon murder investigations.  As of now the investigation will not go under a grand jury. The case is about a police officer who is convicted of shooting and killing a teenage boy. The media is trying to make this look as if it is a hate crime with whites and African Americans, but officer Zimmerman is half Hispanic.

 http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/04/09/trayvon-martin-death-wont-go-to-florida-grand-jury/

My thought is that the media is turning the case into something that it is not.  They are not giving the full story or full police recordings.  The media is trying to start something that should not be started which is ridiculous. They are trying to make this into a hate crime even though neither of the people were white. Plus, many of the news stations left out police recordings of officer Zimmerman being questioned on what the suspect looked like.

Week 10 Blog

Syria has reached its one year anniversary of uprisings. Over 800,000 people have been killed in Syria alone. To me this is an astounding number and should not be looked over by the worlds leaders. A car bomb went off today marking its one year anniversary of uprisings.

I think that Syria should be looked at more than just uprising. Hundreds of thousands of people have died over the past year and that is inhumane what is going on there. I'm not saying the US itself should do something but the worlds leaders need to think about.
